Led by a dedicated group of students, DUSA Radio is Dundee’s only student-led, student-run radio station broadcasting the songs and shows you want 24/7. Being involved in DUSA Radio couldn’t be easier, you can have your own show or share one with friends; work behind the scenes with the committee or just tune in! Below you can find out more about the team that keeps the station running and on our ‘Schedule and Shows‘ page you can find out more about each end every show, who the presenters are and how to get involved!
If you want to know more about getting involved with Radio contact the team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Chris van de Konijnenburg
Say hello to Mr DUSA Radio himself! Chris is the humble hero of DUSA Radio working both as a presenter and behind the scenes. Articulating his feelings mostly through the medium of Pusheen Cat he keeps DUSA Radio (and its marathon show) afloat. Fond of the old back-scratch he is easy to remember for his awesome hair, lanky frame and legendary dancing! Watch out ladies – when Chris hits the dance floor on Saturday night he never holds back on those questionable (at best) dance moves!
Deputy Station Manager
Chris’ right hand woman, Megan loves raising money for charity, Radio and almost every genre of music. In fact she loved raising money for charity so much that she came back for her second marathon radio show. She was most excited about eating an entire chilli pepper in one bite and looks forward to waxing Jonathan’s back hair (ouch!). Last year she accidentally took the entire show off air when she unplugged the system – but other than that, DUSA Radio runs smoothly under Megan’s careful eye.
The secret cog in DUSA Radio’s machine, Conor shepherds the tech through the 24/7 service it provides along with running his own show. A proud Northern Irish native, Conor studies Psychology in between his warning about various buttons, creating playlists and pints of Guinness.
Matthew looks a bit like a Dragon Ball Z character with his spiky hair but he has that smooth, smooth radio voice. He is determined and spends his time, minuting, listening and drinking wine. Scott Mills has said that he ‘always has the best time’ with Matt and he ensures that on air there’s always some great radio!
Social Media Manager
Ellen is the mysterious force at work behind DUSA Radio’s twitter and Facebook; making sure that every student gets heard and our great radio gets out there.
Grant’s job focuses on getting DUSA Radio broadcast across campus and maintain the station’s high quality. You’ll find him tuning in to shows in-between running his own show, playing video games and making his way through a degree in Molecular Genetics.
Charlotte runs DUSA Radio’s Blog (coming soon!) and, as one of the longest running presenters provides advice to the new starts. Charlotte splits her time between her degree in Molecular Genetics, running the blog and presenting her show.
